The colony and the professor
The 10 tonnes of cement
Pour it into the ants space
And every bit just went
Leave it for a month or so
To harden and to be
Then dig it and expose it
For all humanity
Expose what is a city state
Transcending into something great
An excellence and primacy
A predominance a sovereignty
Superlative designed and built
Out of the red earth and the silt
A city state and tons of earth
Fifty square metres
So much worth
Subterranean highways span
Side roads
Fungus gardens can
Rubbish pits
Complexity
Transport tunnels
We could see
Ventilation understood
Such building skills
Maybe they could
Create such wonders of the world
Superiority they hurled
They actually moved 40 tons of soil
Eight metres deep
Just so much toil
In human terms chinas great wall
Was similar to this city
Call
them ants
So tiny call them what
Ever you feel
But they have got
Remarkable qualities
And they feel
Their city that they have built is real
They planned it all in such detail
And I promise you it will not fail
Its construction uses methods we
Before this actually didn’t see
But in real terms its a marvellous feat
And no man truly can compete
For its done by hand
No machinery
No science
No university
Had a hand in the design
Just ants
Who clearly are divine
