The conspicuousness of a colour
Say of pink for ivory
Its observable and perceivable
And it is now possibly
A way to save the elephant
And the rhino for their horn
Has become extremely valuable
And is tragically now torn
Its prominence in markets
Palpable for we
Create this most amazing product
And of course it be
Big in China ivory and rhino Horn
Both seem
Visible and saleable
And as such people dream
Of owning ivory products
Of taking Rhino horn
Perhaps they fail to realise
That from animals they are torn
From Africa so many victims
Both species under threat
And so a revelation
Externally is set
A pink dye could be an answer
Ivory can’t be
pink neither can rhino horn
Its confusing actually
Its a simple process
A pretty sound idea
It protects the animals
And it does appear
To work and may stop the killing
And save us from the threat
Of extinction which in many ways
Otherwise seems set
Whether the animals like it really who can say
But we know it upsets the market place
And the practice thus will grow
Its a great tergiversation
Its resolution may
Actually be the one thing
That actually saves the day
And its seems Very simple
And desirable to do
Lets hope its works in Africa
And brings the animals through
A kind of true deliverance
Rescued so to say
Salvation of simplicity
And they will not have to pay
Life saving liberation
Relief from all that pain
Undefeated unsubdued
With everything to gain
