Faroe islands lament

The pilot whale slaughtering devils
Who reside on the Faroe’s today
Who care nothing for anyone else in this world
Who tell us tradition is way
Out there ahead of all reasons
For the hunting of whales from their shores
Have been given a gift from the sea faring lines
The cruise ships talk up some old scores

AIda and Hapag Lloyd tell them
They are cancelling tours there and they
Believe that the slaughter of Pilot Whales there
It just shouldn’t happen today
Sea Shepherd was convicted for trying
To prevent those whales dying but still
Watching the beaches of Bour and Torshavn
Run red with their blood which did spill
Into the sea in vile crimson waves
All that tribulation and pain
The ordeal these whales face
With whole families lost
And it happens again and again

I hope they lose vast sums of money
I hope that it dawns on them they
Are seen as pariahs and just awful liars
And those watching know its not the way
To go about scouring the water
To butcher whole families at will
To abuse all creation lost without salvation
As even small children now kill

Talking up culture and using war ships
Does not make a case for this crime
Whales are protected and should be by all
Through out the passage of time
I am sure passengers will be saying
Their wish is to not go there too
Such a blood thirsty mob who plunder and rob
The ocean as these devils do

Individually we as protestors
Are boycotting products as well
And we wouldn’t visit those islands
Which are seen by us all as true hell
Let them realise we all are against them
And Let Denmark feel punished as well
The whales are a species of earthlings
Under the goddesses spell
