“The litter box”

The litter tray
And the tide is out
She’s changed the earth for me
I can now sit and ponder
And just think of the sea
The fragrance of the ozone
The gentle soft refrain
Of my own heart a beating
And next to nothing strain

Far from the sea
I lay my head
Sarcasm may be so
My litter tray has often been
Forgotten so I know
The pleasure of an environment
That’s clean and smells sublime
The tides come In
The tides gone out
Thanks to old Father Time
