Spring has sprung

The excitement of the season
the rebirth of things to come
The colour of the Daffodils
The symphony of some
Who Burst into a choral scent
That wafts into the air
The glory of the golden dawn
That’s pictured everywhere

The lungworts flowery pastel
Blue and pink which does
The Hiacinth fresh bold scent
Unrolls
with it’s familiar buzz

The cyclamens great mound of green
From its beech nut floor
Ostera’s stark achievement
Who could want for more

the height of Spring is with us
Its abundance does ring out
We pagans come together
We are in no doubt

We meet and sing our praises
To those dear folk who are
Entering the fragrant dawn
And Following the star

Ostera’s stark achievement
Who could want for ever more
The height of spring is with us
And it’s something I adore
