In swaddling clothes I lie

The university of such distress
Torment and pain
Adversity we sit together
In the falling rain
Excruciating rawness
A sensation we control
She lies within
Those Cloud pink sheets
Exchanging light for soul
Lamenting on a lover lost
Within a silent glow
The sweet sounds of a muffled horn
Whose pitch is high then low
She gazes through
The shimmer of red
That stretches far
Across the fields
The watercress beds
That came from yonder star
The goddess yields such splendour
Though the pain contains so much
Forcing tears to wander
Down her pale cheeks
At a touch
She breathes a sigh
And in each eye
A mirror of repose
A rhapsody of everything
From one pure heart that knows
