Trappers a family on their way to HELL

Thunderbay Ontario out in the bush they be
Trapping wild souls from set traps
Their dad put in a tree
40 traps in all are placed
Indiscriminate disregard
For Nature for the family
And just how bloody hard

It is for little animals
To survive the wintry bite
Responsible for their families
How can this be right
the natural world is out there
Not for man un kind to kill
To exploit and just cause
awful grief
Really for the thrill

Teaching children to live the wild life
When they live inside
Sacrificing animals
Of course it is denied
Both parents think it’s right and proper
The wife though has some doubt
A women must appreciate
What it is about

They arrogantly step forth
Into the wilderness
And slaughter little animals
Causing them great stress
The father thinks he’s on the case
He’s giving them a way
Of being able to live outside
And really make it pay

Leaving his contraptions
To coax fur bearing souls
And it’s all regulated
There are strict controls
Trappers set their own controls
Animals have to be
Dead in 120 seconds
Of the vilest agony

Not just to their person
But their family who will die
Imagine a mother or father trapped
Asking themselves why
But these human beings have no thought
Of the animals they kill
They do not give them any chance
It’s all about the thril
It all about the chance of catching
Wild souls for their skin
It’s skilful no it’s wilful
It’s pure and simply sin

For these souls are shared animals
They walk the forest free
Martens,weasels,beavers stoats
Foxes all now be
Wolves and lynx such creatures
All sadly can be
Trapped and killed lost for ever
To this sick family

Unashamed and graceless
Hardened to the plight
Unrepentant about the deaths
Living in the light
That is what’s on offer
But they prefer to be
Out together killing
For them that is the key

To wonderment and knowledge
A chance to make some cash
To sell the skins and supplement
It’s all done in a flash
The daughter she feels big
She’s trapped and killed a lot
The mother thinks it best by far
To be out there and it’s not

Up to anybody to talk down to her
For she
Knows so many children with their I pads
On their knee
They do not move nor discover
The wilds that are around
And her kids they are healthy
And successful bound

Why teach children trapping
Killing it is sick
Go out with your cameras
And learn learn the trick
Of seeing And believing
That wild creatures have their place
They are living where they were born
Unlike the human race

They have great humility
Much more than humans do
They resonate with their habitat
They have a kindly view
Each learns respect and wisdom
And serves the natural law
But the parents here are stubborn
Psychopaths for sure

Without any foundation
For belief in what they do
What they catch is a surprise
Watch their film it’s true
It’s indiscriminate slaughter
And alters perspectives by
Taking out some predators
But,not knowing why

The environment we live in
Where each soul has it’s place
Trapping them and killing them
Really we deface
The great planned equilibrium
The ramifications Be
Greater than we can imagine
As for this family

Their arrogance is off the screen
Their ignorance is too
They are destroying the environment
Which is part of me and you
They don’t have the licence
To kill no not at all
And making a film and showing it
Shows me they are off the wall

Canada has a lot of things
Going on out there
So many do not value
The wild folk
And will not share
They want to do away with them
Kill them see them dead
For a pittance in reality
They are off their head

It’s so sad that the people
Have this blatant disregard
For the wild life all around them
And the countryside is scarred
By their heinous disregard for it
Their hearts and minds are spent
Killing for a shilling
But never getting their consent

The arrogance is born of man
And it will be his end
Those children one day
May look back and say dad was no friend
He took us into hell and now we know
It would have been
Better to take a camera
Than kill like a machine

Regret we have a lot of regrets
But cannot get back time
Death was really final
