Moonstone cottage

An enchanting play on delightfulness
In the cottage where we stayed
It’s boundary wall is the abbey wall
Which would have course been made
Centuries ago and forms the boundary
To where
An apple tree and a raised platform
Gracefully now share

That glimpse of Arthurian legend
A tranquility where we
Could go back in time quite easily
To a land of mystery
Moonstone cottage Bere lane
A busy little place
Peering through the gateway
Life goes on at a pace
But inside we are so comfortable
In this eclectic cocoon
This really happy haven
We’re inside a balloon
And it’s stunning it’s just home from home
With salt lamps and much charm
Inside the moonstone cottage
Walls
It all feels really calm

Some music maybe TV
Video’/s to see
Lots of books and magazines
And guides really the key
Is the lovely Katarina a warm
And sincere soul
Delightful really
And friendly and helpful
It’s a role
She takes on really avidly
And you feel her to be your friend
A log store in the garden a lizard that does wend
It’s way up on the roof toward the gable
Where it sits
The table in the sun perhaps
A swinging chair that sits
Beside a vine it’s quiet and so secluded and we feel
Able to relax a while
And just chill out for real

With Glastonbury encircling
With it’s great responsive smile
A high street decked with quirky shops
Occult books and a mile
Of really splendid contrasts
Clothes and crystals there
Really a uniqueness
That no town can compare
With the Tor and the sea not far
Away
Moonstone cottage really got us hooked
More so each day
It’s so settled

and so comfortable
And so relaxing we
Clearly took in Somerset
and all it’s mystery

A parking bay in front of house
So easy to unload
But it is a little difficult
to reverse off of the road
But that apart the experience
Of the family now next door
Who kind of just looked after us
We didn’t want for more
I thoroughly do recommend
This delightful little place
It’s somewhere we shall return to
And keep it as our base

Thank you Katarina and David
Your hospitality is second to none
