Languishing in their miserable stalls

It’s so sad for the lack of sensitivity
Towards the innocent infants on the farm
Profit, margins,overdrafts,and mortgages
Have come between sweet sanity and harm

I’m sure that many farmers are not evil
It’s just tHeir supermarket buyers are
They tie them up in knots with regulations
And will not pay the right price so they scar

Everything and make their inroads powerfully
That draws the finer feelings with such shit
And so in all of this the poor farm animals
Especially the infants where they sit

Is right down on the ground for there’s no profit
They need the milk that human beings drink
They want all that colostrum to build their tiny bones
But so do the supermarket hordes that think

Their yogurts, cheese and mousses are important
And so the baby cow can starve to death
Caught up in the maelstrom of convenience
And so denied the milk, the love the breath

Baby cows are abused for cheese and rennet
Baby cows are abused for bloody veal
Baby cows are stolen from their mothers
Just imagine you lot how that must feel

Awful,it is terrible that we do this
Abusive,unkind evil in a way
We kidnap baby cows and many just are killed
But the mothers die a bit inside each day

I mean to say they have carried their little charges
Through the rigours that the farm has set
Nine months of aggravation they felt the cold they felt the heat
And they did sweat

They gave birth and the miracle was obvious
But the farmers wouldn’t let them bond for he
Wants to flog the milk to feed the humans
So the calves can rot in hell reluctantly

And what I ask are all you vegetarians
Holy than thou what you must do
Is think about all those souls who are dying
That you begrudge yes you begrudge them too

It’s not all bloody carnivores who are guilty
It’s every single one of us who lives
Whether we are vegan veggie macro or a carnivore
The molestation here it really gives

We are anything but kind man unkind represents
The ugly selfish nasty things we do
A baby needs its mother
A baby needs its milk
But dairy farmers have lost their way
In contracts and that ilk

Tied up in their daily chores
The balance sheets the bank
The supermarkets will not pay
The right price to be frank

The customer that’s you and me
We listen but we don’t hear
The babies sobbing In their sheds
We fail to see each tear

And tears there are from mothers
And babies they are there
Go and see a dairy farm
And realise and share

Realise the horror
Realise the pain
Realise the obvious
Their life should be not In vain

Realise you are not a cow
Realise the fact
That you can live without their milk
But the babies they react

By dying or just being killed
For they cost and want to drink
The milk that goes to humans
So stop a while and think

Each time you eat your cheese mate
Or knock back some ice cream
Or eat some cadbury’s chocolate
You can say it s all à dream

But for them it’s such a nightmare
The agony of strife
The emergence of a devil
That takes away their life

They suffer how they suffer
And it gets worse everyday
All the while we drink their milk
They haven’t any say

They have to feel abused and sad
For we have deemed it so
They are only born so we can drink
Their milk they have to go

And go they do most of them
Throats slit bleeding out
Dancing on the chain of death
That’s what their life’s about
