Oklahoma not a musical we love to listen to

these huge great pig prisons

are terrible places

full of insensitive people

their faces

truly bored out of their

robotic brains

its aloofness and cold blooded

stupor that reigns

they call it a farm

indifferent

the harm

they do to those pigs

day in and day out

when you hear the furore

you just know for sure

they go through such suffering

and indignity

they are not senseless beasts

they have feeling they see

affable souls with a real heart of gold

enduring the worst

until they are sold

it becomes an ordeal

at the end of the day

a harrowing journey

which only they  pay

chagrined and mortified

a botheration

doomed and dejected

complete desperation

the ways they are treated

punched beaten so

trod on and tortured

by life forms so low

no wonder they scream

no wonder they bawl

no wonder they falter

and suffer it all

babies slammed  ground wards

and  bleeding like hell

the feelings of parents

nobody can tell

nobody can realize

what they are going through

its a travesty really

what man unkind do

they squeal and they murmur

they grunt and they whine

full on

disgruntlement

of course  a sign

that all is not right

and that they have to be

allowed to respond

to this vile energy

oklahoma  now surely

laws ought protect

mercy for animals

when they inspect

this sort of ugliness

this sort of pain

knowing how pathetic

and truly insane

living like this

and allowing them to

make pigs lives so awful

something they can do

close down the facility

let people see

what their dollars are buying

is futility
