The auction houses and the workers

It happened in America

of all places we saw

animals when being sold

subjected to much more

cruelty and lack of understanding

for the way

they happened to be treated

and be made to pay

its like a war is played out

in these stalls I have to say

violence of a certain kind

takes over and the way

the workers moods are

shown to be

to submissive souls that are

already shocked and frightened

humiliated far

and away beyond whats decent

whats humane and what should be

hell on earth is created

such vile adversity

a wretchedness thats ruinous

a slackness in control

a breakdown in  administration

for every fearful soul

a rigidity a hardness

the rigor of it all

blatantly mistreated

when their backs are to the wall

when they fear the worst and get it

with a rampant rod of steel

a harshness such intolerance

severe austere  they feel

oppressed distressed and bludgeoned

kicked and squashed and told

the bullies how they persecute

as they are being sold

the workers so undisciplined

anarchic bolshie gits

who need to feel their own boots

in their faces

for such shits

need pain to wake their senses

court fees don’t do a lot

these are bloody monsters

a cabal that are not

fit to work with animals

with the sensitive brigade

and should be banned forever

when vindictiveness has played

a part in their behaviour

then the wrathfulness must be seen

and the fact they have been charged

and sentenced shows just how obscene

they were these bloody frustrates

pitiless and sore

ruffians so hostile

hard bitten and whats more

an anathema of evil

challenging those who

already face the wrath of god

for doing what they do

downers lost and weary

unable to walk they

are kicked along and brutalised

that is how they pay

at the hands of hoodlums

rogues who should be fired

with pitiless severity

they should be retired

punished for their evil doing

exact some retribution

kick their arses one by one
