Sealing

Having been out in the eighties

to see the the baby seals

to watch the babies beaten

to just know how that feels

to see them hooked and skinned

and still alive to feel the pain

to watch what you would never ever

want to see  again

no one with  humility would ever

advocate

such a brutal expedition

nothing there is great

its horrible to watch it

and terrible to see

and that Canada is financing

it

baffles him

he be

imagining that Canada was

was advanced and so humane

but in point of fact it wasn’t

it had all gone down the drain

the seals were being slaughtered

as badly as they could be

this was not humane at all

it was just ghastly

we all know that

but Harper and

politicians before

have all agreed to finance it

all this blood and gore

is on their hands

its in their hearts

its something they must do

prove to themselves how evil

they are that is my view

the cruelty and savagery

is Canada’s and they

can stand alone and be responsible

and take the can

I say

the world looks on in real disgust

its not a place to go

boycott them completely

say we don’t want to know

and we will go on protesting

till its stops and goes away

for its just too bloody awful

to think of it today
