its not that he’s an expert

those often hunted ones

but Patsy lets them know he loves

no traps no hounds no guns

just a truly caring aura

and an understanding for

how they are and what they need

and he does not ignore

anything they tell him

he’s learning all the time

by being just a student of life

there is a rhyme

and reason why they love him

because wild souls know pain

they realize his efforts

they share his daily strain

both learning from each other

and thats what makes it great

he has become their father

and thus he does create

something very precious
