Swathed in scaffold
and sheets of plastic
Japan’s embassy emerged
overburdened by each moment
as more protesters had converged
Dolphins blue and placards bloody
megaphones rang out all day
crowds of people shouting mantra’s
Hopeful that Tai ji would pay
Drums and screams and myriad whistles
Tai ji maybe only small
but everybody heard its named called
which sounded like a huge great wall
Down Piccadilly
along the centre
on the pavement
all were heard
chanting from the many present
“shame on you Japan ” each word
echoed by the many voices
repeatedly, every which way
traffic hooted, people rooted
for hours on end all through
the day
“Blood on your hands”
we do need saving
the blood money
The Dolphin spell
“Stop the slaughter in the water”
Taiji is a living hell!
Jack Frost woke us rather early
there we were out in full view
3 blue dolphins each were sailing
into freedom
good and true
swathed in scaffold
sheets of plastic
working men on top did wave
the megaphones cut through the traffic
as Dolphins face their watery grave
some embassy staff were seen to venture
out to feel that wall of sound
all those whistles all those voices
the numbers swelled so we all found
second wind to shout our
mantra’s
shake our Dolphins
wave red hands
many hundreds gave their voices
of mice and men
the best laid plans
a loss of face
was clearly out there
they must have heard
the words so loud
everyone joined in
protesting
every one throughout the crowd
the camera’s were out all over
crouching in the road sometimes
flashing lights and poking lenses
as the chanting voices climbed
the bobbies kind of well they melted
the red police moved van away
leaving us to shout the mantra’s
and really try to save the day
The taiji Dolphins all remembered
underneath those tarps we see
bloody murders taking place
bloody murderers of Tai Ji
It was really quite a protest
many people came today
made their voices heard
enjoying
helping to do it our way
for every Dolphin that has perished
each of us hold very dear
each soul in our hearts we know that
and that alone conquers
the fear
The Japanese must feel the anguish
it echoed through the streets of town
voices filled the streets and byways
part of what was going down
Taiji a little port but really
what goes on there murderously
captures hearts and minds for ever
for the dolphins who now be
tortured and trapped
and bleeding slowly
into waters running red
the Japanese appearing heartless
so many Dolphins now are dead
full on savagery and terror
such awful feelings as angels die
each gives its life for each other
that’s what really makes me cry
they will never leave a a friend
a relative no not at all
and that is what is now exploited
by the Japanese who over rule
they sell the pretty ones to bidders
Sea World really and those who
the rest just slaughter them together
and watch the sea turn red from blue.
yesterday we came together
made our voices loud and clear
the London streets were reverberating
so everyone on earth could hear
