Fracking facts and the Warriors Call

Its clear to anyone with any common sense at all

that the environment does suffer

and hence the warriors call

reverberates around the mountains

and through valleys long and green

for what these Coal seam Gas proponents

do is just obscene

they come in with their money

with equipment with their drills

with promises to make us rich

it just gives me the chills

how they can lie their heads off

and fucking walk away

after they have ruined us

they have gone on their way

Air quality is paramount

because we all breathe air

and methane becomes serious

when its bloody there

Water is a problem

because its needed and

their seams can destroy aquifers

right across the land

they so pollute the rivers

they dump their fracking waste

they peddle crap for nothing

where ever they are based

I do not trust them one little bit

they are just profiteers

not one prophet amongst them

and when the thick mist clears

and we can see our environment

the air and  the water lost

methane bubbling out of the ground

then we can count the cost

where is Mr Cameron now

sucking up to those

coal seam gas survivors

who seemingly still pose

a risk to other places

as their greed continues through

to tearing up the country

for that is what they do

Australia is suffering

the farmers know the score

many have been lied to rest

about the many bore

holes into the aquifers

and possible the shale

when methane gets involved

of course

someone should be in jail

but of course they  are into mining

and the money too be made

they cut the corners

and change the laws

as in the land they’ve laid

pipelines after pipelines

drills heads frack pads too

and everywhere’s polluted

its what the fracker’s do

come with myriad promises

march slowly to our death

but pollution and the solution

is to just stop drawing breath

thats the be and end all

that’s the extent of why

our vast expanses ruined

watch out communities die
