To not agree with the fracking means you are wrong and liable to be pounced upon

because it made more sense to see

were part of the community

its serious to see

got rid of in the end

it may be laced with all sorts

where are they going to send

somewhere close may be

down some hole its got to go

somewhere we can’t see

it maybe radioactive

its poisonous as well

it once was potable water

but now its tainted hell

and if we  make our objections heard

we are seen as wrong

the police see us as trouble

we are the angry throng

Dock Green you must surely be

there’s no such thing as democracy

for the  corporates enjoy

whatever bloody freedoms

and we get it in the neck

we are treated just like scum

its us thats kept in check

they can bring their rotten drills

and tear up all the land

they can blow the marcellus shale

with proppants and with sand

they can waste vaste quatities of water

yes they can

and they can pollute our environment

and for them there is no ban

They can come from France

where fracking has been banned

and just drill here

drill somewhere near

possibly to your land

where your home is

your garden

your favourite woods may be

they can come and drill it up

yes your catastrophe

they can ruin everything

they can cut and run

and we just have to let them do it

the corporate veil is spun

the coppers they are in the pay

corporates oh yes

helping out each other

if you didn’t guess

the people have no fucking rights

no not any more

they only have to breathe
