Elephants and their responses

Man unkind you seldom think

and so because of this

you can’t realise your predicament

so far away from bliss

to work a tiny being

who will as a giant grow

is to fool yourself and not realise

when one day such a blow

will come into your psyche

as the animal recalls

the horror and the torture

which clearly all appals

any thinking caring soul

to set out to engage

in breaking a babies spirit

to put her in a rage

inside herself to to

torment

an elephant so proud

so powerful and so honest

who can take on a crowd

but you working for someone

rope this soul and wait

you beat her into submission

inside she is irate

but of course she can do nothing

just torture herself and wait

wait for that time

when you are off guard

and that will be your date

with hell for they are patient

it may take 20 years

they may soak up the agony

and may not show their tears

but one day when your unsuspecting

when your arrogance has burned

a hole deep down inside of you

thats the time to  be concerned

for the Ele will turn on your

perhaps a crushing blow

and you will not remember

why you have to go

torture never leaves the mind

it festers there and those

carrying out such evil

maybe they suppose

they are resolute and ready

but the ele she will be

biding her time

and one day

you can wait and see

that crushing blow will get you

the pain of it as you

exit from this world and enter

Hell as people do

My appeal to people

is refrain from harming souls

because some corporate monster

issues his controls

you tell them

you go fuck yourself

the elephant must be

protected from the evils

and from shits like you and me

we have to stop this harming

we have to let them be

in Thailand and in Burma

and where else we have to see

a change of heart

with animals

we must let them be

enjoying their sweet freedom

for all the world to see
