Certified Palm oil

Sometimes I think its because they are ignorant

totally immersed in their own little space

rainforest’s don’t even figure in their world

which to an activist is a disgrace

But they are in a world of margin and profit

so far removed from the prophets of old

red apes and tapirs, don’t mean a thing to them

its all about cheap fat and on that they are sold

you would think that this U S P would win them over

but frankly such arrogance ties them in knots

if they have children they don’t think of the future

really they are a complete bunch of snots

if some corporations can bloody well do it

its not rocket science it needs to be done

so why arn’t they doing it, its really criminal

they just might as well grab themselves a big  gun

and shoot the endangered watch them lie sprawling

and watch as the maggots arrive with sun

we’re talking about feral earthlings

for God’s sake

they were created to be here, and are

they need the trees the lungs of the planet

and all we can do really is log and scar

take out the heritage

take out the oxygen

in its place palm oil

the dark side of life

death and destruction

you bet there’s a ruction

big corporations

creating this strife

soulless and heartless

a vile conflagration

life force is ruined

and death is on hand

satanic  the darkness

spreads  over the jungle

the end  of an era

who can understand!
