Fracking waste its a fracking poor state of affairs

Its going to have far reaching affects on the environment today
when politicians make up their minds to force us all to pay
they are dwelling on the hope that they can make the corporates feel
happy in their environment and actually conceal
the factor they as corporates themselves it pays to be
in bed with all corporates that’s good policy
well that is as may be
but the public need to know
that decision making protects their interests
and so when it does snow
they need to see protection a de icer
on the street
normally its salt they use
when we get it on our feet
but in New York now they are using
fracking waste and they say
its is even better and perhaps a clever way
to recycle these pollutants
spread it all about
the chemical swill that it contains
they didn’t have a doubt

the Hudson River runs along
and when the snow melts they
might find the rich pollutants
end up there okay
the great water authorities
can they, handle it there
this might be one big step too far
and lead to great despair

for me I think its foolish
fracking waste is bad
it should be dumped deep in the earth
its a cost too far and that’s sad
the natural gas fired energy
may yet come back to haunt
those people who gave the go ahead
for what is a risky jaunt
