Coal Australia what is it they are doing to the barrier reef

Coal is about the worst fuel you can imagine

CO2 emissions are really high

endangering the climate

and damaging the reef

the government are mad  to want to try

they have given the go ahead to an enormous mine

encroaching on the reef which seems to me

absolutely without any precedent

a corporate decision apparently

I can’t believe that this could get the go ahead

its inconceivable that it’s allowed

it has to be prevented the environment will suffer

pollution and so many disempowered

the Government of Australia 

have made a serious error

and all I see before me

is a period of terror

lets wait and see how it pans out

when the reef is so exposed

and the coal creates a hell on earth

will it then be closed

somethings gone wrong somewhere

some heads have got to roll

the barrier reef has to be saved

for the decision lacks all soul
