South African Government and the wild life and the hunters male and female

The Melissa Bachman phenomenon
is still in the news today
but some people are supporting her
all along the way
asking why the global outcry
happened, possibly
because it was a women
who killed this lion
for me
I don’t expect to see a women
killing earthlings, she
is after all
more able to create life
actually
so to see and hear her comments
rather made me feel
sad for women really
it just was very real

had it been a man
we’ve all seen many times
lions hung up and I am hung up
and have written many rhymes
this was a women doing it
I didn’t expect to see
and it degraded women
that’s if you ask me
I don’t see killing animals
as a reason to believe
that this can help South Africa
for all the Lions I grieve

not just this one actually
but this one seemingly
slaughtered by a women
it did do things for me
it sickened and it saddened
that women also feel
its fine to go around the world
and kill
its no big deal
this masculine persuasion
for me will never do
I hate to see the killings
it saddens me right through

South Africa is proud about it
millions in the bank
canned hunting does it for them
for me I think its rank
to have to murder anything
any soul at all
and to sit back on your laurels
means society does fall

down into the doldrums
into its own abyss
the hunters that’s the man tribe
they can share the bliss
the froth that’s been generated
from this womens exploits she
in my book isn’t worthy
of a prime spot on TV

killing those wild animals
and deriving pleasure does
no doubt give the psychopaths
around a goodly buzz
seeing a majestic lion cut down in its prime
or an Arctic bear
of whatever there
its the signs of the time

how we derive our pleasure
from the killing fields of pain
canned hunts guarantee returns
and import the insane
the psychopath the money bags
who spend it now at will
and buy whatever animals they want to buy
and kill

its all laid on, each package
and the body parts are sold
or given to the starving local people
its the gold
that glitters in the evening sun
for everybody shares
except of course the animals
caught saying their prayers

as for Melissa Bachman
and the other hunting lot
the women coming into it
I must say I was shot
away with that completely
I never thought that they
could stand behind a rifle
and blow a soul away

I know I couldn’t do it
my feelings are too strong
life for me is so precious
and it just seems so wrong
to kill another earthling
for a financial gain
for South Africa or for anyone
it seems life was in vain

creation must be wary
of what it sees today
of how this glorious miracle
has become a way to pay
the government is implicated
in the deals as well
heaven on earth
has given birth
to a kind of canned hunt hell

we all have our opinions
and I think she is wrong
women hunters really to me
are singing the wrong song
they need to give another message
that’s if you ask me
more of a caring nurturing
that’s my honest plea

the Lion the Bear the crocodile
the Zebra they all were
creatures born for better things
and yes they caused this stir
seeing them lying breathlessly
slaughtered on the ground
just victims for a TV show
to be lost and never found

took me back to times when
I have lost a cat or dog
who had become a family member
I remembered them my log
inside of me was in overdrive
thinking of those souls
the family members left behind
who had to take on roles
grieving they will be grieving
the one’s who still survive
there is inter action
children in the frame
who may have lost their father
their little hearts inflame

to me each created earthling
has a place and they
do not deserve this treatment
whatever papers say
whatever the hunting people say
and the South African press
slaughtering animals in cold blood
shows me we are in a mess

we’ve lost it
that’s if ever we had it at the start
and for women to be doing it
goes right to the heart
its never ever sexist
its a disappointment I
feel to know that women kind
doesn’t question why

doesn’t as a goddess
stand back and realise
there’s more to life than killing
and thus its my surprise
to see them in the thick of it
with blood now on their hands
and getting pleasure from it
and well making more plans

to go and kill more animals
and post them on the net
proudly go where no man goes
and kill and really let
the world know women are a force
to be reckoned with and they
can go out in the wilderness
and just blow life away
