They begin as well live exports
and often end up dead
no food and no water
no where to lay their head
standing up for 3 hours
to Calais
and beyond to Germany
or Turkey
these creatures have a bond
in fact with their earth mother
the planet as a whole
but all this fear and travel
we need to all console
for they get really stressed out
the storms surge and the sea
the fact they fear the slaughterhouse
where ever that may be
they might be dark and dismal days
but nobody wants to die
thus I must ask the question
of Dover port then why
do get involved with this nasty
is it lucrative to you
well you are making a killing
and appear clueless too
I have to say its inhumane to
take this business on
and either you are greedy
on unethical upon
this day and age
where suffering
is common place but we
must never orchestrate a piece
and increase their misery
for misery is clearly a factor
its their feel
fighting with the weather
and hopeful to conceal
is blocking out the sunlight
and it rains across the bow
its raw and horrid passage
and someone can tell me how
they ever find some sleep at night
from taking in the sins
the aura of the vessel
and the swell that kind of spins
it round and round
for it is small
a 3500 soul hold
and this is what the people
of Dover have been told
that its a wondrous cargo
it helps them pay their way
so as to supply the foreign corporates
and currently save the day
to be blessed with such poor cargo
and ship it every week
to my mind tells me Dover
is not now at its peak
grubbing around the cargo holds
for anything that’s going
even taking live exports
and all that, tooing and frooing
disturbances that bring what is
rotten publiccity
to a port that should be careful
about what the world can see
