Squirrel genocide (a bit of advice to a hunter)

A weekend of killing
it has to be chilling
to me there’s no providence, there
who partakes of such evil
needs to rethink
he might be,
in his own sad despair

but that gives him
no right to take out his frustration
on our, sweet little, wild friends
squirrels have families and deserve
their lives
and the statement you made
kind of sends

the shackles arising all over the place
to provoke criticism may be
but poking the sensitive might seem good fun
but it isn’t a good place to be

threatening torture of animals
again doesn’t get you respect
so what’s really tough about killing the innocent
just to get percy erect
to my mind its better to go after
the government, for they, are clearly who
you want get at, they are your enemy
more than a few packs of squirrels who do
you no harm really apart from
just being there doing their thing
so why would you want to screw

if you are so, bloody frustrated
shout off your mouth even sing
shooting a deer with an arrow
might have similar ring
to that ache in your heart
for excitement
but what satisfaction is it
to gun down or stab some wild being
hearing it scream, thats just shit

these animals are up against it
from predations out there and they
are nervously watching their backs
and their fronts
and you want to blow them away
I think you’d be better rewarded
going after the assholes who rule
the animals really are not your concern
and I tell you it fucking ain’t cool

to slaughter them just for the sake of it
their life means to them like to you
so spare them a thought
don’t get fucking caught
up in this shit
now will you
