Romania and its horse problem

Romania is kind of out of hand
the earthlings do
get short shift dogs and cats
and the poor old horses too
its an area apparently
animals just seem
to be getting such a bad press
and it seems hard to redeem
really any sympathy of any kind at all
the populace appear dumbstruck
nobody on call
the strays we know will
be killed soon
and horses too alas
the slaughterhouse will
be finishing them off
probably now until
someone gets their act together
and realises that care
is an important factor
for everybody there
they have to try and help
the animals it makes no sense
at all
to kill them except for the money
where there appears a school
of thought that they can make a bit
on the side and so
once again the animals are sacrificed
we know
its really hard to come to terms
with the generality of evil
that apparently abounds
and seems to grow
