Relationships need both parties to give(earthlings) animals and human

the holiness of cows
is seen in India
respect for earthlings
is a wondrous thing
but if respect relates
only to profit
then sunken morals
they are bound to bring
a vile distinctive meaning
to relationships
one gives everything
the other takes
this is not equilibrium
it cannot be sustaining
and in a moment
that when the heart breaks
the animal was offering
its milk for all to try
the human charged those drinkers
as they were passing by
until the earthling suffered
and injury or two
and instead of looking after
her
he let it fester through
then the realization
that the cow was now no use
it couldn’t withstand commercial force
coupled with abuse
and faded on the street
became a burden in man’s eyes
rather than love and care for her
it spelled out her demise
he left her in the street
the maggots chewing on her so
until she was discovered by someone
whose heart did grow
larger when he saw her
and this is what we see
all around the streets of life
true love and that’s the key
they may not be the Brad Pitts
but in their chest their grows
a heart that will encompass
everything that throws
a spanner in the works of life
and stands its ground to show
that love is of the strength
that proves the words are more than show
