The walls of the world its clear are there

To The “Walls of the world”
in which we are hurled
beside ourselves with pain
if we could write on the walls
of the world
would it all be in vain?
looking through the windows
at the mountains and the sky
at the oceans and the beaches
and the people passing by
looking at the animals
feeling their true plight
hearing the cries of panic
from the Elephants at night
when the chain saw gang are visible
that’s when we’re inclined to ball
a time when we would choose
I think to write upon the wall
The Rhino as it hears its horn sawn
off possibly it may
also like to write something
on that wall right away

giving hope to all
and hope thus springs eternal
upon that special wall
