An ocean of crimson

In an ocean of crimson
the dauntless now die
Dolphins hauled out of the cove
Asthey lie
frightened and trapped by the spells
of those who
banged their steel pipes
as the Taiji men do

fooling the creature’s
spreading the fear
its vile what they do
to the babies around here
pull over fast and slice up to show
the virtue of life
if someone wants to know

a sweep of machete
that cuts through them all
blood spurting every which way
as a rule
the cut of serration
beguiling those who
came to the forest
to exploit them too
