When you represent a country
its the people that resent
bringing them into sick repute
nobody’s content
humility is important
and you show scant regard
for the primates that you carry
whose lives are really hard

stolen from the forests
and crated up and sent
far across the many miles
none of them well mean’t
they are going off to laboratories
to be tormented so
taken apart and put together
as you already know

a lowliness is needed
a resignation too
its really just blood money
and all that’s down to you
an ingloriousness about you
taking the evil pound
discredits you your reputation
it is gutter bound

and who will travel on your planes
knowing what you do
contemptible and beggarly
all the journey through
then lets look at the cargo
live animals they fret
packed into tight cages
and covered with a net

darling little primates
stolen from the wild
many missing family members
many more defiled
imagine what it must be like
split from kith and kin
the fear is enough to kill you
its the purest of sin

and then the stress of travelling
all these miles by air
the noises strange and curious
of course its going to scare
the living daylights out of you
no food no drink no light
your in trepidations clutches
and that truly is real fright

numinous behaviour
such stress it kills it does
apparently so many die
the craven hearted buzz
coming from the management
taking on this trade
honest it’s unethical
your balance sheet is laid
bare for all the others
and we consume the fear
that Air France shouldn’t do this
should pack it up this year.

to go back to the primates
don’t you ever feel
I heard you were romantics
this factor you conceal
from all your future travellers
that you take primates who
have been stolen from their families
and you just want to do
the worst for them
to see them ruddy tortured
until they give up, and sit and die
poor lost souls who spend their last hours
having a good cry

and will never buy a ticket from you
