but you will find it hard
to be this
how anyone in this day and age
could be
quite so bloody awful
to an animal
but this is what does happen
actually
In Valladolid that’s Spain
such malevolence
a Bull is left to wander
in the countryside
and is set upon by a crowd
all wielding knives
daggers swords it terrible
to imagine
each of these men
realises lives
are up for grabs
and agony is obvious
as each will stab this creature
till it falls
panting coughing up its blood
in a pitiless display
and then along come someone
with lance and does away
then lops of his precious tail
and sticks it on his lance
for this he gets a golden badge
and a brand new lance to chance
his arm at another suffering Bull
the malice and rancour feeds
the brutality and evil
as each time he succeeds
well the other day a Dutch activist
delayed a fight and he
was jeered at by the baying crowds
who degenerate who see
one after the other poor souls
torn apart
the matadors mark out their scores
each one not worth a fart
Bravo Mr Dutchman
Bravo you were for me
were the bravest man in all of Spain
