Seal Pelts for fur hags and rag bags

I just can’t imagine the solace
the pain and the agony there
the thought of this drags me down
to the dark depths
and into the land of despair
to carry one’s baby
and feel it inside
to nurse it and be there
when it wants to hide
to nurture it. love it
to cuddle it so
and then in the morning
just as the glow
comes up from a sun
slipping further away
and the wind rushes inwards
with so much to say
carves massive rivulets
into the ice
and there in the light
something that’s not so nice
a blue overall a 6 footer stands
a stick in his hand
he has no fans
he trundles across to me
lashing his stick
and crushes my baby
who’se skulls isn’t thick
not yet anyway
but now he is gone
blood every which way
milk coughed upon
the ice my poor innocent baby
is dead
with a huge wound thats bleeding
on top of his head

whimpering sighing slowly he’s dying
a tiny baby
my baby supreme
and why is he dying
murdered by lying
traders who do it
they can’t hear them scream

they are ghouls they are savages
bought by their masters
told to kill babies and babies they kill
its the pelts they are after
the skin no one dafter
than them in a nutshell
its some sort of thrill

they get as the bludgeon
the babies imagine
the pain and the suffering
the loss and the care
all gone by the wayside
its all about profit
the governments filthy hands
always somewhere

signing the papers
handing our bounties
suffering babies nobody sees
nobody cares about blood snot and mayhem
and now whats left of them
yes it will freeze

I am lost in a maelstrom
of evil resentment
the tiniest babies are slaughtered
and why
for commercial profit
its just about money
the fur hags and rag bags
think its all a lie

they buy into the fur trade
these rich individuals
paying a ransom
for my babies skin
and that baby and this baby
and all my friends babies
fashion its evil its terrible sin

the flashing of sticks
and the brains torn a sunder
the fury the jury is out
who will wonder
or wander the white wastes
and give up a prayer
for all the sweet souls
whose death we now share
