Foie Gras

Those snobby shops in London
believe themselves to be
able to stock torture in a tin
and casually
carry on despite the evil
that is clearly there
the terrible conditions
the cruelty and despair

if its so bloody wonderful
why don’t we make it here
no! we buy it in and sell it
how is that sincere?
the fear, the torture
the abject cruelty
involved to me
is vile
no style
so snobby
no thank you
it can’t be
you should be quite ashamed
for its evil and its bad
despite all the objections
its really truly sad
selling foie gras
and knowing in your hearts how it is made
its cruelty no doubt about that
so on your heads
its laid

karma maybe it means nothing
but it should and it will
foie gras is evil its really bad
for a lot of blood they spill
a lot of pain and agony
and this is every day
it really is beyond belief
that we should make them pay
