Badgers ( the saga continues) Beef and Milk and at least one dodgy farmer

Slaughtering Badgers
apparently seems
to instigate marches
petitions and reams
of concern, on face book
and twitter for we
now hear DEFRA is selling
Beef with TB
and Milk with TB too
so the argument there
that the farmers are losing out
just drives me spare!

they are flogging the meat
into schools of all places
those DEFRA officials
should have real red faces
and farmers still milking
their infected stock
really must come as well quite
a shock

but, its been pasteurised
so the experts say No
no transmission, big deal
it still helps us to
grow
but TB is not down to Badgers
no more
its the feed and the husbandry
of that now I’m sure

they are going to town
ruminants eat green grass
that’s their thing
full of minerals
for them first class

their immunity is kept pretty high

not so with soya and corn
that’s a lie
since the big super stores
have refused to pay
the right price you see
the farmers dismay
and of course they go awol
on grass
and they be
buying this bulk feed
and the misery

so with all of this going on
Badgers get shot
it deflects the gaze
but of course its all rot
its wrong
it is senseless
and Patterson he
had best do his U turn soon
or he will be
ousted for nobody wants

except vested interests
of which I am not
