that 2,4-D is being used today
used out there in Vietnam
we saw the devastation
we knew as they did of the terror
and how they did pay
and yet the quest for sales
and a continuum of profits
allows them so to market

around the throats of all of us
not least our precious pets
who wander onto treated lawns
and take on all those debts
canine malignant lymphoma is hiding
in the green
this vile cocktail of chemicals
together are obscene
ingestion,inhalation and directly via the skin
harm many species
and as such
are uneqivocally a sin
