Greece is clearly going through
a hellish time for all
its animals do cry out
and few can hear their call
its mayhem in society
its vile aggressive stuff
and many people seemingly feel
they’ve had enough
a miasma kind of descends
upon the streets and there
we see
abandonment
the animals are anything but free
lost souls in a sinful place
subjected to the woe
that’s fallen on this place
before it happened that did glow
but now the fires are raging
its an evil time to be
a stray or a lost canine
in this sick adversity
that grips Greece at this moment
and pulls the nation down
the animals are suffering
they are all over town
and with so few to help them
compared to all the souls
crying its impossible
for the nations has its trolls
and cruelty and sinfulness
is apparent everywhere
and the animals how they suffer
when humans reach despair
