Badgers the real truth of the matter

the killing
Badgers really honestly
tragically instilling
in everyone a shocking grievance
for what they are going to do
is shoot at Badgers
but of course they haven’t got a clue
it must be done at night
these small and secret animals may
not
be killed out right
they may be injured
and crawl away
its totally insane
and how the hell’s that right
to go out to kill Badgers
in rural places
when the light
is poor
it really isn’t easy
somewhere’s they may die
its really futile anyway
just killing, on a lie

Badgers don’t cause TB
Cows cause TB, and
they will all be slaughtered anyway
to understand
this so called cull
is ridiculous, its a travesty in time
its pandering to criminals
who will drown
in their own slime

this is not the thoughts of
science
or the, RSPCA
who know the bad sense in this cull
we must thus save the day
for government to listen
to the corporate point of view
then employ, blokes with rifles
we know what we must do

and, its not even practical
these animals will be
so hard to kill
but their blood they will spill
and thinking souls agree
Farmers and the Cattle people
this time have to know
that murdering the badgers
is not the way to go
about this
a quarter of a million
have signed up and said No
thousands walked in London
there, another show
of rural people telling you
the Badgers have to stay
its not their fault its happening
its our own fault, anyway

if the farmers improved their cattle’s health
instead of bringing down
their expectancy by poor husbandry
they do
they go to town
with GM foods and concrete pens
no sunshine on their backs
no fresh green grass
no wild plants
the diet really lacks
the nutrients they were born to eat
its about a margin, and they
are manifesting their illness
so to make the Badgers pay

is criminal, its just so daft
and most see through all of this
its not that we are adamant
or want to take the piss
its just that its misguided
its wrong and people feel
that if one Badger is shot
out there
then possibly the real
reason is far more sinister
and this, truly will not do
people may just fight this
for democracy is through

people but to our minds
creatures will be shot
and they really are not guilty
and if they shoot the lot
creation and humanity!

what the hell is happening
when there is untold doubt

when there is, so much at stake
and the costs are really high

the farmers and their masters

anyone is guilty
it matters not or where
just anybody
other than themselves
and after all
the government panders to this mob
but this time they will fall

for the people know the real truth
the Badgers are not to be
made scapegoats in a scenario
that everyone can see
the culprits are the farmers
the cattle men and they
must face the music not the badgers
yes! they have to pay
