a policeman shoots 5 kittens a man crushes a dog in a dump truck

3 refuse men in the street
are presented with a live dog
and as they’re demented
what do they do lift it up
put it in
the crushing blades mash it up
that is a sin

a policeman is called to a litter
of kittens
the shelters are full
what does he do
takes out his pistol
and blows them away
and that’s the done thing
that we hear today

I question the sanity
of man unkind
heartless and mindless
and bloody well blind
evil, poor judgement
their diet must be
bringing on bouts of
such insanity

and the public look on
with little to say
and the children cry out
and the poor earthlings pay
hell is right here for them
that is for sure
the angels are few
all caught up in the war
