2.30pm (the skies the limit)

Sometimes we feel alone
and pressure builds up
in our soul
we feel the world’s against us
confused, with our role
weakened by our history
perhaps mistakes, we made
but as the path gets straighter
and safer things do fade
and fade they must for light shines in
and life can be as good
as life can really ever be
for what we have, we should
cherish it, and build on it
and realise, our power
is growing like all living things
taller by the hour
stronger every minute
no man dares to try
and ruin what we both have
our share of the sky

no matter where we live all
have sky above our head
and we must feel that it belongs to us
and when thats said
and done
we have so very much
the skies no limit, and
together we can conquer
all our fears and understand

if darkness comes to worry us
we have each others power
we can be alone of course
but have no need to cower
ever in the darkness
for we can stay in touch
mindfully together
our caring bond as such
we understand each other
we have the power, and we
can withstand any amount of wind
for we have history
we have a wealth of reason
we have the truest thought
tried and tested over time
thats something that can’t be bought

and love for one another
heartfelt without judgement
true love for one’s soul
mindful of one’s experience
hopeful of a goal
Aradia our goddess is with us
she is ours
a shared love of existence
that does sustain our powers

this poem I began
at 2.30 today
and every ounce of thought went into
it along the way
every ounce of passion
the marrow from my bones
I felt your precious spirit
and its subtle under tones
