What really goes in our pets food

We’ve known about this years
so many stories
rendering plants
where animals are thrown
even we’ve seen downers
lobbed onto the teeth
knowledge that our hearts
and minds disown

to think that our own species
is as evil
and doesn’t realise
and respect pain
and then to mash up
animals that have been
euthanised
together with their collars
and their chain

and their chips
and all this goes into some pet food
its beyond a souls imagination, we
have seen these stories
coming off the internet
and now Spain’s head has reared
so terribly

our dogs and cats should never be fed
on dogs and cats
that is clearly way beyond the pail
even bits of plastic bag and liners
it all goes in and is rendered
so the trail
thickens could it be part of
the food we buy
the animal derivatives
could they then
actually be some body’s pet
its inconceivable really
hopefully soon we will know
when
the investigation in Spain
gives us an answer
video’s have shown bodies
here and there
so let us wait to discover what the
outcome is
and then the trade
can take it all from there
