The Dog that was tied up and burned on several occasions and was rescued just a few thoughts about his abuser

What humans do to animals
they will probably do to us
the terror in that dogs eyes
its hard to now discuss
but disgust is how I view it
its a nasty streak that’s born
out of goddess knows what
but it must surely warn
us all the types of people
that may frequent our space
cruel and so insensitive
their inner thoughts so base
lower than the gutter
they may have reached their own
abyss
to torture any animal
and exact their share of bliss
is a sign of in born madness
a rage of ill repute
imagine a relationship
with these feelings at the root
I count my lucky stars
for knowing who I do
and being friends
with souls who love
all creatures
good and true
