Kyrgyzstan and the 2 day festival held there

a 2 days event
in Cholpon Ata
they call it a festival
and it is far
away in my eyes
from a festival, for
wolf baiting proves
dominance and no one’s the star
They tie a wild wolf
to a post and let dogs
tear it apart
or a falcon
it flogs
the heart out of me
to imagine the pain
for men to create
such a fight
is insane
the characters of all who
go and attend
as the wolf fights its corner
but dies in the end
men making earthlings
just battle for
a share of the wolf
and draw on its gore
to me is sub human
its evil and we
should show them how crazy
they are just to be
so associated
with killing and grief
for honest
dear Goddess its beyond belief
