Hunting with hounds and the RSPCA

Its doing the rounds
this hunting with hounds
this evil and nasty pursuit
the RSPCA must prosecute away
hunters who try to impute
the facts are the law
don’t tell us what for
fox hunting doesn’t belong
and hunts that go out
and try to throw doubt
and deny it as they did, is wrong
The Government really should
think long and hard
the countryside people should too
the people of this country
they have moved on
and fox hunting with hounds
will not do
its over
it really has come to an end
the riding all over the land
tally ho off we go
to the pub for a tub
of ale
to soften the blow
because its a blow
to the freedom we sought
foxes and wild souls
all of us caught
up in a so called historic time
when people were hung up
on garret’s, our climb
long since, much has changed
and these blood letting sports
are honestly, truthfully base
in our thoughts
