Trapper

More human trappers
out there in the forest
proud to show us all
their heartless state
how they can leave a trap
for the unsuspecting
they just come back
they don’t even wait
set the evil quietly
cover it with leaves
and wait for some one
whose looking to fill his belly
which is great
but of course the trap
engages and the poor soul
takes a hit
knowing that its injury
proves that it is it
and as it reminisces
on its life up till then
the trapper comes and kicks
its head and then does it agen

and poses with the dead soul
what a courageous soul
who when he’s told he’s dying
will probably lose control
he won’t think its karma
that outcome will deny
but that is how things happen
and why some people die
