In the depths of her soul
lies a heart of pure gold
a shoulder to cry on
when others are cold
a beautiful goddess
whose long flaxen hair
sparkles like diamonds
exceedingly rare
the love for her sons
she displays
with such awe
the great depths
she goes to
Oh I am not sure
to be as profound
and to realise she
is a supercharged spirit
of pure constancy
she works with her fragrances
and she controls
the house and the chores
she fills all the roles
she loves and she cares
and she knows
how I feel
positive energies
from her, appeal
she can fight her own corner
she can light our way
she cooks and she sings and she
lights up each day
virtuous
beautiful
lovely to know
yes she’s been hurt
in the past
but her glow
is there
I can see it
and feel it
for she
has warmed up my being
such tranquility
her very survival
her loveliness shows
to know her
is to love her
and share lots of prose
tell her the light she gives out
helps the world
she’s my inspiration
for where I was hurled
was not such a nice place
but she’s pulled me round
I love her to bits I do
now that I’ve found
someone who cares
someone who does
with just one small smile
give me such a buzz
in the wink of an eye
her mood changes, me
I am found again
random but
totally free
from the constraints of fear
from the corporate pain
from the shit propaganda
that now falls like rain
boundaries
parameters
and paradigms
she is the reason I write
all these rhymes
she is my spirit
she is my way
she is the reason
I wake up each day
