An open car door
barbed wire
and a dead soul
on the grass
the Trapper
posing like
some creep
as terror
came to pass
for that
poor young
wolf’s family
his lady
and his cubs
who now have lost
a father
a lover
and who dubs
this trapper
as a hero
who really even thinks
the bounty he earns
for killing
probably goes on drinks
a waster
nothing positive
comes out of cruelty
and we ought to wake up all of us
and ban it instantly
and wearing fur is encouraging
the low life of this world
to carry on with this cruelty
its not as if they were hurled
into a violent maelstrom
like us they needn’t be
so vile and disingenuous
so everyone should see
by saying no to fur
we can save innocent souls
and they
can live their lives
and add worth
to our shared world everyday
