“The boy who would be king”or (faerie princesses and wizards come in many guises)

A wizard
not of Oz
but of a place
not far from here
with his pointed hat
can coddle spells
and truly helps to cheer

the princess
whose so pretty
a sentinel of sorts
who loves to wear
her leggings
so many types she sports
from phantas-ma-magorical
to an ebony bright shine
from emeralds in honey
and everything divine

Delilah is a mother
cat
And Bear her gorgeous
son
and all live in a palace
with a garden full of fun
behold a tiny bijou
where such healing
comes to be
a young lad loved by many
with a most delightful qi

for digital accomplishments
for mega byts and things
yes being in his company
I’d say my old heart sings
a totem looking one way
a dragon sleeping proud
a bunker full of the blackest
gold
and over all a shroud

of beauty hangs predominantly
the princess and her son
the wizard comes from time to time
to the garden where the sun
shines whatever month it is
for it is a peaceful place
where everything seems perfect
and where the Hare does chase

amongst the pots and herbs
where fairies I hear hide
the princess on her astral journeys
acts as the wizards guide
calms him for he’s headstrong
his energy chaotic
and makes him feel so valued
which is very symbiotic
