A heavy sky
of rolling blue
with hints of dark duress
shadows on the TaiJi cove
whose waves
pick up the stress
resentment fills
the foreground
as silhouette’s emerge
from hours of gloom
and reality
is clearly on the verge
Cove Guardian’s, hearts pumping
the nets are ready too
the fishermen are tentative
Police and Coastguards view
Dawn and feel the awakening
and the haunting cries that do
accompany the morning, tinged
with blood and guts anew
Death raises his sickle
and soon brimstone and fire
will enter this sad haven
where sticken souls in dire
straits begin their trip to Hell
as machete’s cut their skin
and throw them into turmoil
in a melee of such sin
the brine
in which they shelter
will become one crimson cloak
as blood and sinew flood into
the ocean and the croak
of the dying and the sighing
and the lying that we hear
wreak havoc with the sentient’s
whose spirits so endear
