Sea Shepherd and Captain Paul Watson

With Sea Shepherd’s skull and crossbones
Flying in the wind
The Southern Oceans crying
Its children seem destined
To face the wrath and evil
Japan’s misguided stance
In darkest realms they frequent
With their so outward glance
The oceans wide and ready
To protect the greatest whales
From explosive harpoon weaponry
Creating bloody trails
Of sinew leaking mammals
The great whales why should they?
Be murdered on the high seas
And just be made to pay
There are no more, graceful spirits
Emissaries of hope
Embodying such reverence
And enabling such scope
The Humpback and the fin Whales
Majestic in their form
Gliding like great sentinels
Before the violent storm
Air the sweet persuasion
That lifts them from the blue
That forces them to the surface
Where ugly whalers view
Their motivatation, science
The emptiness of sin
Harbingers of evil
Exploding now within
Consumed with vital suddeness
Prepared to go where few
Have ever ventured deep into the bowels
along with you
Sea Shepherds utter valour
And its will to remain free
Each sensitive semester
It surreptiously
Promises salvation
Takes on the might and power
Becomes the shield for those
who weild
their harpoons, and devour
