Callistemon or Bottle Brush

Callistemon, or Bottle Brush
to you and me
Endemic to Australia
Where you’ll see
Its cylindrial flowers
That resemble a brush
All over the place
There’s no need to rush
At roadsides on parkland
It grows everywhere
And to a Hepialid Moth
Who is willing to share
Its fragrance, its there
and at night it does swoon
Tasting the nectar
And watching the moon
