Busselton Jetty in WA

The little train of Busselton

chugs out towards the sea

Sending out its messages

to the mermaids constantly

and there below the waves

An observation platform shows

8 metres down above that

and the vista clearly grows

We become encased in an aquarium

The fish, are wild and swim

wild in the sea

It rather turns the tables

Dismissing all those fables

For what we see is actually the sea

Anna gives a good account

and her knowledge

is significant and we

Learn how their relationships

do prosper

And how the corals

correlate and be

501 the engine

red and rosy

The train man with his beard

takes on his task

Chugging out accross the waves

Smiing all the time

Carrying his little water  flask

Busselton seems further in the distance

Its pristine beaches waving in the sun

What we learn from Anna

Means I’m now a life long fan a

For all of us have had a lot of fun

You can, walk all the way

thats your prerogative

But feeling the sensation

of the ride

Experiencing the rumble of the jetty

Is a feeling that just cannot be denied

At the end there is a little

souvenir shop

A place to catch your breath

and taste the sun

Swig back draughts of ozone

Share the summer breezes

And watch the little children

having fun

The fishermen are hopeful

of some dinner

The seagulls they are

hopeful of a share

Riding on the little train

at Busselton

made my day

and made me more aware
