A Lass I was introduced to called Thursda

In Coolbellup we met a lass called Thursda
4 rescue dogs a mastiff who had been
kicked until all of his teeth were broken
and beaten and left with a ruptured spleen
A Terrier that took off like a Harrier
A Half Dingo and a gentle Labrador
all clearly loved by Thursda
and all reciprocating
I was keen to meet her thats for sure
She also knew a great deal about gardens
and was I heard an expert on the fig
She had about 20 or so now growing
in containers and some were very big
Here was someone you knew was really genuine
Animal Rights was clearly on her mind
She also was greenfingered
For all her plants were vibrant
In her garden it was easy to unwind
My friend Colin lives just up the road from her
His garden is a mass of wildness too
Mulched with chopped up branches
He avidly enriches
His sandy soil with every compost brew
Permaculture is his special remit
And lots of plants are clearly looking great
Coolbellup an aboriginal name which means North Lake
Is peaceful and is close to Frio, which I rate
